Free integrated development system

PlantView 3 HMI-SCADA includes in a single license the development and the runtime modules: the two integrated software environments allow the designer to test the supervision at any time during the editing phase, simplifying the testing and configuration activities. This allows for quick and effective project implementation, with evident savings in time and cost; the problems associated to double licence (for runtime and development) are avoided. As soon as the design and test phase are completed, the runtime-only module PVCustom3 will let the final user to access only the operations he is concerned with. All commands can be password protected (if required) in order to guarantee the maximum safety.

Integrated database editor

The creation of the tags database is a critical phase in a supervision project: PlantView 3 allows to browse the OPC servers space, that is to look for OPC servers, local or remote, in the network, to read their configuration files that include communication parameters and to access the lists of tags available for data exchange. This way the designer can choose the devices and the tags that will be used in the supervision project and directly import them, together with their properties. This dramatically reduces the project time and minimizes the risk of errors in the configuration phase.

Multilingual editor and runtime

	The development environment can be customized in any language thanks to Unicode support that allows you to use different alphabets including e.g. Chinese, Cyrillic, Arab, etc. Also texts in the supervision pages can be made multilingual and can be translated in real time.

Integrated Visual Basic for Applications

	Thanks to an important agreement with Microsoft, PlantView 3 integrates the powerful Visual Basic for Application (VBA) development environment: this allows the developer to customize the supervisory software in various ways, so that every specific need can be met. More info? Click here
