Maintenance

The
MaintenanceManager
package provides useful and easy tools for the control and the management of one or more plants maintenance.
Once established which are the most important parts of a plant, the ones considered really critical
for the good plant working, it is possible through
MaintenanceManager
to schedule the preventive maintenance actions, based on working hours count, start-stop events number or a time
schedule. Moreover, the package allows to trace the maintenance works already done.
MaintenanceManager
is well integrated with
PlantView
which keeps updated real time the data tags values required in order to
schedule the maintenance actions.
Two are the programs which compose the package:
- Configuration Tool: allows the design of a schematic layout of the plant through a tree
structure, whose "leaves" can be connected to data tags corresponding to field signals.
Those signals, representing for instance
working hours number or start-stop events are updated by
PlantView
in real time. When a specific warning threshold or alarm threshold is reached,
or an established time period has passed, some "to do" actions can be defined.
- Plant Manager: acts as a supervisor for the actions defined through the Configuration Tool,
keeping the chosen signals values updated and warns the operator when the
warning thresholds, alarm thresholds or time limit are reached. The program can also
trace the maintenance action made by the operator.
